Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2026 – Building Relationships and Discovering New Technology

Automotive Testing Expo Europe is one of the key dates in the calendar for professionals working across vehicle development, testing and measurement.

Taking place each year in Stuttgart, Germany, the event brings together automotive manufacturers, engineers, technology developers and specialist suppliers from around the world. As Europe’s largest exhibition dedicated specifically to automotive testing, it provides an opportunity to see the latest developments across areas including crash and durability testing, NVH, battery and electric vehicle testing, autonomous vehicle development, occupant comfort and quality assurance.

This year’s exhibition took place from 23rd to 25th June 2026, and once again provided the Interface Force team with an excellent opportunity to meet customers, suppliers, distributors and colleagues from across the international Interface network.

Supporting Interface in Stuttgart

Robin, Ben and I travelled to Germany for the event, where we joined our colleagues on the Interface.de stand.

Throughout the exhibition we met existing customers as well as prospective clients from several international markets. These conversations gave us the opportunity to learn more about the projects engineers are currently working on, the measurement challenges they are facing and where Interface Force products and expertise could potentially provide a solution.

Events of this kind remain particularly valuable because they allow conversations to take place face-to-face. While modern technology makes international communication easier than ever, there is still enormous value in sitting down with customers, colleagues and technical specialists and discussing applications and challenges in person.

It was also Ben’s first visit to Automotive Testing Expo Europe, giving him the chance to meet many of the European distributors and international colleagues he had previously only known remotely, including members of the wider Interface team from Europe and the United States.

Sharing Knowledge Across Europe

During our time in Stuttgart, we also met Interface distributors representing Germany, Italy and France.

These discussions allowed us to compare experiences from our respective markets, share ideas and talk about both the opportunities and challenges currently affecting businesses operating within the force measurement and automotive testing sectors.

Maintaining these international relationships is an important part of what we do. By sharing knowledge across the Interface network, we can better understand emerging applications, changing customer requirements and developments taking place across different industries and geographical markets.
