ROV Operated Subsea Connectors

Destec's GSB connectors are designed from the outset for remote operated vehicle work, fitted with standard API torque receptacles and guides so an ROV can locate, drive and verify the connection without a diver present. Seal rings can be permanently attached to one hub or set up to be removable and replaced using a remote operated tool, which keeps intervention time down on a live subsea asset. Guidance and pull-in systems built into the mounting plate make first-time alignment easier, and a soft landing cylinder function protects the connector faces during make-up. The result is a connector built for genuinely unmanned subsea installation.
