Jacketed Pipe Clamp Connectors

Where a pipeline needs to be heat traced or maintained at a controlled temperature, Destec manufactures jacketed and flow through jacketed versions of the G-Range clamp connector. These special connections carry a heating or cooling medium through or around the connector itself, so the temperature control built into the pipeline is not interrupted at the joint. The connector retains the standard clamp and seal ring design underneath the jacket, keeping the same leak tightness and reusability as the rest of the range. This suits process lines carrying fluids that need to stay above a minimum temperature to remain workable, such as heavy or viscous products.
