High Temperature Seal Ring Manufacturers

Destec manufactures all-metal seal rings suitable for high temperature service, with the maximum service temperature limited only by the seal material selected rather than by the sealing design itself. This allows the same fundamental cone ring principle to be applied across a very wide temperature range, from moderate process duties through to the most demanding high temperature applications found in power generation, petrochemical and refining plant. Materials extend from carbon and alloy steels through to Inconel for the most extreme temperature duties, with a range of coatings available for lubrication depending on the installation and disassembly method used on site. The seal ring's resistance to thermal cycling is a particular strength at high temperature, since cold quench conditions and repeated thermal transients are the most common cause of leakage in conventional compressible joints, and the additional flexibility built into the Destec seal ring design compensates for this movement rather than being defeated by it.
