Duplex Steel Compact Flange Suppliers

Destec supplies the Desflex Compact Flange in duplex and super duplex steels for applications where standard carbon or stainless steel would not provide sufficient corrosion resistance against the process fluid or the surrounding environment. Duplex construction extends across both standard and swivel weld neck flange configurations, and can be matched with duplex or nickel-based alloy seal rings from Destec's D and RD range to keep the complete connection consistent in material specification. This makes the flange a practical choice for offshore, marine and chemical process applications where chloride exposure, sour service or other aggressive conditions rule out standard carbon steel construction. The flange retains its full weight saving benefit over an equivalent ANSI flange regardless of material, since the saving comes from the compact flange geometry rather than the material selected. Special duplex and super duplex configurations are manufactured to customer specification where a project calls for a material combination outside the standard range.
