Door Closures

Destec door closures give operators fast, safe access to pressure vessels, and are designed to be operated quickly without compromising on safety. Typical applications include industrial waste treatment closures, pig traps, separator vessels, subsea access hatches and medical waste treatment vessels. The standard range covers sizes from 0.5m up to 2m in diameter, with larger or smaller sizes available on request. Every closure is designed to meet ASME and other relevant pressure vessel codes for quick release connectors. Destec also runs front end design studies to work out the most cost effective closure solution for a given application, then manages manufacture and the wider project in-house using its own technical expertise. A dedicated range of doors has also been developed for domestic waste treatment plants, built for continuous, remote operation.
