API Torque Receptacle Subsea Connectors

Every Destec GSB connector operated by ROV is fitted with standard API torque receptacles and guides, allowing a subsea torque tool to locate and drive the connection without manual intervention. This standardisation means the connector is compatible with the ROV tooling operators already run on other subsea infrastructure, reducing the need for bespoke intervention equipment. The receptacles are built into a connector rated up to 20000 psi as standard, tested to 30000 psi, and designed for a service life beyond 25 years. Combined with the connector's guidance and pull-in systems, this makes for a straightforward, tool-compatible subsea connection.
