Light-bending silicon chip shows projector potential

- Smartphones could soon be transformed into projectors with the development of a new light bending silicon chip at the California Institute of Technology. - The chip was manufactured by Ali Hajimiri, Thomas G. Myers Professor of Electrical Engineering, and researchers in his laboratory and results were presented at the Optical Fiber Communication conference in San Francisco on March 10.
