Our significant investment in two Mecal Kosmos routing machines allows us to machine aluminium extrusions up to 6m long. While the enclosed machine bed is 4m, extrusions can be moved through the machines to accommodate longer lengths.

Dynamic clamps and purpose-made fixturing ensure even complex or awkward-shaped extrusions are securely held, enabling consistent, repeatable machining operations. Our machines can rotate to any plane, allowing angled faces and features to be processed with ease. Operations such as drilling, tapping, notching, and slotting are easily programmed, while complex cut-outs and features can be imported directly from CAD files.

Efficiency is further enhanced as additional features, such as sheet nuts or studs, are fitted while the next component is being machined, minimising overall manufacturing time.
