Production Capacity Further Increased with Hasenclever Forging Screw Press Installation
Brooks Forgings has successfully positioned its newly acquired 1450T Hasenclever Forging Press onto new foundations at the company’s manufacturing facility in Lye, Stourbridge.
The machine was acquired, along with six others, following the closure of Cerro EMS in 2025, and represents another important investment in Brooks Forgings’ long-term production capability.
The Hasenclever is a friction screw press designed for high-performance closed-die forging. With its injection and coring capabilities, the machine enables the production of more complex forged components, further strengthening the company’s manufacturing flexibility and technical capability.
This latest installation follows continued investment across the business, including the recently installed Vaccari Screw Press. Together, these additions support increased capacity, broader process capability and improved resilience across Brooks Forgings’ UK manufacturing operations.
Brooks Forgings continues to scale for the future. By integrating new processes, expanding in-house expertise and investing in specialist forging equipment, the company is helping safeguard the heritage, strength and resilience of the UK engineering sector.
