New Partnership Keeps Eurostar On Track With Production Of Drop Forged Anti-Roll Bar Links

30-01-2026

Following the acquisition and installation of the forging plant from Henry Williams, maintaining production for existing customers has been a key priority for our group.

One of our first projects was for a long-standing customer in the rail and locomotive sector, supplying finished, precision-engineered components for the Eurostar locomotive platform.

Using existing tooling, we forged a batch of 100 ‘dog bone’ anti-roll links from C22 material.

The forged blanks were produced on the newly installed Banning 6 (6.3-tonne) power hammer and then put through additional processes, including normalising, descaling and 100% magnetic particle inspection.

These steps ensured the anti-roll bar link forgings met the required industry standards before the customer completed the final machining operations.

By partnering with Brooks Forgings, our customer has secured UK-based production of critical rail components for many years to come. We look forward to developing the relationship further in 2026.

If you would like to work with us on your next project, or if you have been affected by recent supply chain closures, please contact our experienced sales team. They will be happy to discuss your forging requirements.
