Expansion Continues with the Installation Of Vaccari Forging Screw Press
Following the closure of Cerro EMS in Birmingham, Brooks Forgings acquired six forging screw presses. Installation is now under way across the group, with the 800-tonne Vaccari press being installed at our manufacturing facility in Lye, Stourbridge.
The Vaccari press is a versatile machine, offering friction, crank and sub-press capabilities. This investment will strengthen our forging capacity, particularly for non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, brass and bronze, enabling us to produce high-strength, intricate components for a wide range of applications.
Groundworks are currently being completed to support the installation of the Vaccari forging press at Brooks Forgings.
Brooks Forgings remains committed to growth and excellence within the forging industry. Continued investment in new processes and expanded capability is vital for supporting and protecting British manufacturing and engineering.
Looking ahead, we will also begin installing the Hasenclever 1450-tonne forging press, which was also acquired from the Cerro EMS site.
