Toolox 44

Toolox 44 is a quenched and tempered tool steel with very low residual stresses. In spite of a hardnessof 45 HRC it boasts very good machinability and is unmatched on the market. Toolox 44 has a hardnessand purity which enable it to be polished and etched with excellent results. The steel is particularly suitedto sheet metal and plastic-moulding tools, as well as highly exposed machine components.
