Remote Field Electromagnetic Technique (RFET)

Remote Field Electromagnetic Technique (RFET), Remote Field Testing (RFT), or Remote Field Eddy Current (RFEC) as it is also known is used for detecting wall thickness changes in ferrous tubing in boilers, heat exchangers, feed water heaters or similar environments. It can also be used on non-ferrous tubing due to its wide test frequency range.
