Job Description:
The person holding the position of Regional Sales Manager will be a member of our sales team and is expected to take an active sales role in the team. The main responsibility of the position is to generate new business through sales to new and existing customers, in particular focusing on resellers. A secondary responsibility is to grow the perceived and real market presence of our company and products through various marketing activities. The Regional Sales Manager will work to ensure sales growth and customer success with our products.
Responsibilities:
Managing our current channel partners. Supporting them on sales and technical topics in their respective regions.
Manage Channel expectations.
Leveraging previous successful sales to gain repeat sales to same or other units within an existing customers organization and to other new customers where similar applications are found
Developing of standardized solution offerings based on previous successful projects
Sales calls, customer visits, trade shows and conferences
Analysis of customer profiles and requirements
Preparation of presentations for existing and potential customers, for on and off-site demonstrations and for exhibitions
Generate market and competition analysis, forecasts, application notes, white papers, press releases and publishable articles and other types of related content as needed
Analyze and develop new markets for existing and new products
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Travel (also international) up to about 50% of the time, as needed for activities including (but not limited to) customer visits, seminars/workshops, trade shows and conferences
Requirements:
Proven track record in sales
Experience of sales channel/account management, sales management or project sales
Experience in personnel management
Relevant knowledge about the application of 3D scanners and/or dimensional quality control and inspection software such as PolyWorks, Geomagic, RapidForm or similar software in customers processes
Experience preferred in using 3D scanners and/or 3D scanner software
Ability to analyze, develop and implement new initiatives
Excellent sales and technical sales skills
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills
Well organized, structured and reliable in reporting and forecasting
Ability to manage customer relationships
Ability to coordinate projects
Good team player and team manager
Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
