A lot of people consider street lighting to be a good enough solution to completely illuminate a scene for capturing CCTV images at night, however this isn’t the case. Street lighting can provide uneven illumination which is not designed for use with a camera, resulting in dark areas as well as grainy footage with little or no detail.
