Tilting Disc Check Valves

A style of check vale whereby the disc swings about a hinge near the centre of gravity of the disc, moving onto the seat to stop backflow or off it to allow forward flow. The disc is always present in the flow and as such creates some reduction in pressure, however it opens and closes quicker than a swing check valve.
