CAT5/6/7 Infrastructure. Cabling
Access control system sits on a standard CAT5/6/7 infrastructure. Cable a CAT5/6/7 cable from each access control point back to the central 19” rack normally situated in the comms room. The distance can exceed the normal standard 80 m limit. This system can run a distance of 300 m from Mid Span Bridge to access control point using POE concept.
