How accurate is CNC helical bending for stairs?

Manual helical bending relies on an operator getting it close and adjusting. Small errors add up over a full turn of a stair.

With CNC control, the machine calculates the bend from the plan radius, rise and degree of turn. That gives an accurate rail first time and identical repeats.
