What is a core rail and can you roll one?

A core rail is the steel inner rail that a timber or other handrail is fixed onto. On curved stairs it has to follow the helix exactly.

We roll core rails in steel flat or tube to the stair geometry. The capping rail then sits on a true base and goes together cleanly.
