What is CNC helical tube bending?

CNC helical bending uses a programmed machine to roll tube into a spiral. Instead of an operator adjusting the bend by feel, the machine calculates it from the numbers.

We enter the radius in plan, the overall rise and the degree of turn. The machine does the maths and rolls the tube to match, cutting out manual trial and error.
