Smartwatch Force Test

Verifying and validating a smartwatch's interaction design, how it responds to pressing, scrolling and swiping, means capturing user finger force accurately across multiple directions during development. Interface's 3AR Series Round 3-Axis Load Cell is placed beneath the smartwatch to capture interaction forces across three axes (Fx, Fy and Fz) as different force tests are conducted. Data is captured and recorded through the BX8-AS BlueDAQ Series Data Acquisition System using supplied BlueDAQ software, with results displayed on the customer's computer. That multi-axis force data lets engineers determine and adjust sensitivity settings based on real measured results, rather than guesswork, before the smartwatch design is finalised.
