Pickleball racket core assembly
Pressing together a pickleball racket's core, built from materials like aluminium, polymer, Nomex, carbon fibre, fibreglass and foam, needs precisely the right amount of force during assembly, not too little for a solid bond, not so much that the materials are damaged. Interface suggested installing a 3AXX 3-Axis Force Load Cell into the industrial press machine used to press the racket materials together, connected to three WTS-AM-1E Wireless Strain Bridge Transmitter Modules, one per axis. As the racket is pressed, force results transmit wirelessly to the customer's computer via the WTS-BS-6 Wireless Telemetry Dongle Base Station, where they're displayed, graphed and recorded using the supplied Log100 software, or read directly from a WTS-BS-1-HA Wireless Handheld Display. This gave the manufacturer a precise, repeatable way to determine the exact force needed to assemble their racket cores consistently.Visit the Interface Force Measurements Ltd website for more information on Pickleball racket core assembly
