Lifting Heavy Objects – Construction Industry

A construction customer needed to move heavy materials around a work site using a crane while monitoring the weight of those materials throughout the lift. Interface's WTSSHK-B Wireless Load Shackle is connected directly into the crane's load string to measure forces, with the Model WTS-BS-1-HA Battery Powered Handheld Display used to wirelessly receive load information and show results on site. The customer connects straps to the item being lifted and to the load shackle, and the handheld display reads force data wirelessly as material is relocated. This gave the construction team a way to successfully lift and monitor weight in real time, without cables tethering the display to the crane.
