Crash and Impact Testing

Vehicle crash testing depends on capturing multi-directional force accurately across the full duration of an impact, and Interface's approach to this centres on building a load cell wall. Multiple 3A400 3-Axis Force Load Cells are bolted to the back of a concrete crash test wall, measuring impact forces across all three axes simultaneously rather than a single-point reading. Connected to Interface's BX8-HD44 BlueDAQ Series Data Acquisition System, results are recorded and displayed directly on the customer's PC or laptop. This setup let the customer measure the force of impact consistently across their full range of vehicle crash testing demonstrations, giving engineers the complete multi-axis picture a real-world collision actually produces.
