Product Relaunch: FUNKE TPL

The Funke TPL with optimised heat transfer efficiency stands out in the range of brazed plate heat exchangers. Initially the TPL were intended for applications like cooling of hydraulic and motor oil. Now optimised they are also suitable for more applications in mechanical and plant engineering. TPL meet the high demands in these fields on reliability and thermodynamic efficiency, with extremely variable designs! TPL The immense heat transfer rates are reached by diagonal media flow and special turbulence sheets inserted in the flow gaps- a method invented by FUNKE which is solely produced by FUNKE. The turbulence sheets can be delivered in two executions, thus enabling a very flexible technical design. An additional advantage of the TPL is the highly robust design due to the manufacturing process which uses a special soldering technique. As the whole surface of the plates is covered with solder, the resulting brazing allows for a higher integrity joint. Under stress conditions this means that compared with conventional brazed plate heat exchangers where only single dots of solder are applied, stresses arising from e.g. variations in pressure or temperature can be absorbed more effectively.
