As well as headlights and other basic components, additional signals, such as audio, HD TV, phone, radar, image recognition and GPS, are passed through the contacts of multi-pole connectors along with the critical operating signals. Many of the actual signals are high frequency and low current, so they demand especially stringent testing criteria.
