ABRA Engineering was founded in 2011 with a clear mission: to deliver high quality precision engineering backed by decades of hands-on experience. Based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire, the business was established by Director Russell, who started his career in engineering at just 16 years old and has now built over 40 years of industry expertise. From those foundations, ABRA has grown into a trusted partner for clients across a wide range of sectors.

We specialise in precision machining, one-off manufacturing, and small batch work. Our team is highly skilled in working with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, plastics, and titanium, giving us the flexibility to handle projects of all shapes and sizes. To provide a full end-to-end solution, we also manage subcontract services including heat treatments and surface coatings, ensuring clients benefit from a complete, streamlined process.

In 2024 we expanded our facility to include new equipment for part marking, inspection, and final quality control. This investment reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and our drive to maintain the highest possible standards. Our ISO 9001 certification further demonstrates the quality systems we have in place and the consistency we deliver in every project.

Technology plays an important role in our work. We utilise CAD/CAM software and advanced modelling tools to create accurate and efficient solutions tailored to the unique requirements of each client. At the same time, our approach remains personal and responsive, with a reputation for being just one phone call away whenever support is needed.
