The most frequent form of anodising is sulphuric acid anodising. An anodic film thickness of up to 30microns is able to be produced, depending on the grade of alloy as well as the end use of the components.
The oxide film produced can give the surface of the aluminium with an extremely hard, durable, corrosion resistant and a long lasting finish.
